ASTHMA CAMP FOR KIDS
In partnership with the Alberta Lung Association, the Alberta Asthma Centre have in the past coordinated fun and educational asthma activities for children attending camp. The activities helped children learn about their asthma through fun games and activities designed to encourage peer support, problem solving and asthma management skills. Examples of the activities included: "Release the Triggers", "Life Size Asthma Video Game", "Asthma Twister", Asthma Health Fair and asthma skits. We provided training and support to the camp staff at the Alberta Lung Association - Alberta Asthma Centre Camp for Kids. The camp offered fun camp activities while helping children to manage their asthma.
